Job description
We're hiring a Strategic Customer Success Manager to manage a portfolio of our most important customers across Switzerland, France, Austria, and Germany. You'll rebuild strategic relationships, deepen existing ones, and drive adoption, expansion, and new opportunities across the portfolio.

You'll engage directly with senior management such as CIOs and CISOs, taking full ownership of strategic accounts. You'll be asked to set strategy together with the Kiteworks CS management team to keep retention high and grow accounts wherever possible.

What you'll do
  • Rebuild and strengthen executive relationships across a portfolio of strategic accounts, engaging CIOs, CISOs, and other senior decision-makers.
  • Drive customer adoption, account expansion, and new technology initiatives within your strategic customer base.
  • Enable customer success at scale through close collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, helping shape our long-term customer success strategy together with CS management.
  • Manage a customer portfolio of 50-100 customers, primarily based in the DACH and France regions, within a focus on the financial, legal, and manufacturing industries.

What you'll bring
  • 5+ years of experience in customer success or account management within the DACH market, working with large enterprises and corporates in industries such as legal, manufacturing, or finance.
  • Based in or near Zug or Zurich.
  • A proven track record of getting customers back on track, successfully managing escalations, and setting up a strategy to improve your customer portfolio over the long term.
  • Someone who knows how to build from the ground up, brings a strong entrepreneurial mindset, is comfortable operating in ambiguity, and takes a hands-on approach to results.
  • Fluent in French, German, and English
  • Solid experience with the French, German, Austrian, and Swiss markets.
  • Proven experience managing large enterprise accounts, with an entrepreneurial mindset and a sharp focus on retention and growth.

Nice to have
  • Experience selling or supporting security, compliance, or data governance software.
  • Familiarity with structured customer success plans for larger enterprises.
  • Direct experience leading customers through migrations from one technology to another.
  • Existing relationships within DACH enterprises, primarily in the financial, legal, and manufacturing industries.
  • Experience managing multiple products across a wide portfolio of customers.

What success looks like (first 6–12 months)
  • Rebuilt and strengthened executive relationships within top-tier accounts, securing engagement with CIOs, CISOs, and other key decision-makers.
  • Driven product adoption across the majority of strategic accounts.
  • Improved retention and expansion for top-tier customers.
  • Increased commitment from legacy customers to upgrade to the newest version of the Kiteworks platform.

Compensation
  • Salary range ofCHF 150,000 – CHF 250,000
  • Base pay depends on many factors, such as location, education, experience, and skills. Base pay is only one part of Kiteworks competitive Total Rewards package that can include benefits, perks, equity, and bonuses.The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
