We are looking for a strategic and execution-focused Director of Product Management – M&A to lead the successful integration of acquired software products into our platform. You will oversee the transition of acquired customer bases, drive product harmonization, and ensure sustained ARR while sunsetting legacy technologies. This role plays a central role in shaping our roadmap, aligning cross-functional teams, and enabling successful scaling post-acquisition.

This role is part of our dedicated M&A Product and Engineering organization, working cross-functionally to ensure value realization post-acquisition.

You will lead a team of Product Managers focused on aligning vision, technology, and business needs across acquired products and teams. This position reports directly to the VP Technology and Solutions and collaborates closely with Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and our Executive Team.

The previous role holder recently transitioned to another internal position. Due to the high strategic importance and current workload in this area, we are looking to fill the role as soon as possible to ensure continuity and momentum across all active and planned M&A initiatives.

What You'll Do
  • Product Integration & Customer Migration: Lead the evaluation, integration planning, and execution of acquired products into our platform. Ensure minimal disruption to customers, define clear migration paths, and protect recurring revenue through coordinated transition strategies and customer engagement.
  • Revenue Retention: Define product lifecycle and sunset strategies while maintaining customer satisfaction and minimizing churn. Balance innovation with support for legacy systems where strategic ARR is at stake.
  • Vision & Strategy: Define and communicate the long-term product vision for acquired products in line with overall company goals.
  • M&A Execution: Partner with Corporate Development during the M&A process to assess product fit, technical debt, and integration feasibility. Develop post-merger product strategies and roadmaps and manage integration backlogs.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of product managers and associates, ensuring both operational excellence and professional growth.
  • Ownership: Take full responsibility for M&A product lines, including personnel, budgets, and roadmap prioritization.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, sales, marketing, and customer success to align product execution across departments.
  • Customer Insight: Gather and apply customer and stakeholder feedback to guide product strategy and improve product-market fit.
  • Data-Driven Decisions: Define and track KPIs to measure product success and drive iterative improvement.
  • Go-to-Market Support: Support marketing and sales teams with clear product positioning, messaging, and enablement content.
  • Compliance & Security: Ensure ISO 27001 best practices are reflected in all product management processes.

What You'll Bring
  • Background: Academic degree in economics, engineering, computer science, or a related field.
  • Product & Market Understanding: Deep understanding of SaaS business models, B2B customer journeys, and enterprise product strategies. Familiarity with cybersecurity or compliance-driven markets is a plus.
  • Leadership Experience: Proven track record of at least 5 years in a senior product leadership role, including direct line management and the ability to lead and develop cross-functional teams in dynamic environments.
  • Project Management: Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate complex cross-functional initiatives, manage dependencies and timelines, and ensure delivery in fast-paced environments.
  • Agile Mindset: Proficient in agile product development methodologies (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban) and experienced in managing complex product backlogs and stakeholder priorities.
  • M&A Expertise: Experience in M&A environments, ideally covering product integration, due diligence, roadmap harmonization, and customer migration. Understanding of business implications and value drivers in post-merger scenarios.
  • Languages: Fluency in English is required; German is a strong plus.
  • Strategic & Hands-On: Strong analytical and strategic mindset with a pragmatic, hands-on leadership style.
  • Stakeholder Management: Skilled in building trust and alignment across diverse teams and stakeholders, including executive leadership, sales, engineering, and customers.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value.
