We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines and analytics systems that power insights across the organization. In this role, you will partner closely with engineering, product, and business teams to ensure reliable data availability, efficient data models, and scalable analytics workflows.
What You'll Do
- Build and maintain scalable ETL/data pipelines using tools such as Matillion and Snowflake (experience with other ETL tools is also relevant).
- Develop and maintain API integrations and configure credentials to ingest data from multiple internal and external data sources.
- Work with modern data warehouses such as Snowflake, Databricks, or Redshift to support efficient data storage and retrieval.
- Design, develop, and optimize SQL queries and transformations to power analytics, reporting, and operational insights.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver trusted datasets for product, marketing, finance, and operations.
- Establish and promote best practices around data modeling, data governance, and data integrity.
- Utilize Python to automate workflows, process data, and enhance ETL pipelines.
- Protect confidential business information and partner data, ensuring secure sharing practices and compliance with data protection agreements and ISO 27001 controls.
What You'll Bring
- 4–10 years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or a related data infrastructure role.
- Strong experience building and managing ETL/data pipelines in cloud data environments.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and experience working with large datasets in modern data warehouses.
- Experience with Matillion, Snowflake, or comparable data pipeline and data warehouse technologies.
- Experience using Python for automation, data processing, or data pipeline development.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, governance, and data quality practices.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
Additional Qualifications
- Experience with Tableau or other BI visualization tools is a plus.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical teams and executive stakeholders.

Compensation Range:
- Annual Base Salary Range: $125,000 - $145,000
- Base pay depends on many factors, such as location, education, experience, and skills. Base pay is only one part of Kiteworks competitive Total Rewards package that can include benefits, perks, equity, and bonuses. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
