Who you are:
The Director, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) reports directly to the CFO and is responsible for leading the FP&A function to chart the financial course of Templafy’s global business.

As the Director of FP&A, you’ll work closely with C-Level executives to drive financial performance, strategy and execution. You will lead and develop a high performing team through business complexities and spearhead the expansion and enhancement of our planning, forecasting, and modeling processes, bringing innovation and efficiency to all aspects of our financial operations.

What you’ll do:

  • Partner with leaders across the business to better understand their financial and operating results, solve complex business challenges, identify risks/opportunities and make smart investments
  • Develop meaningful analyses that drive better business outcomes and aid in the continuous improvement of forecast accuracy
  • Own the financial projection models for both the near and long term, driving a high degree of accuracy in the near-term (12-18 months) and working with business partners to identify levers for greater efficiency in the long-term
  • Drive the annual budgeting process and quarterly forecast process.
  • Refine financial reporting processes for internal stakeholders and investors.
  • Lead through change and support adoption of technology for improved processes, automated reporting and better business insights, utilizing automation to allow the team to focus on analysis rather than manual synthesis
  • Support a variety of special projects, including business model and product changes, investment decisions, fund-raising, and prospective merger and acquisition opportunities.
  • Lead, mentor and grow a high-performance team, while fostering an environment of continuous learning and development

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • 7+ years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, investment banking, VC, PE or other similar roles; at least 3+ years in a management capacity
  • Experience in a high-growth enterprise software environment; facile with SaaS business models and KPIs, capable of prioritizing and executing on many projects at once
  • Business partnership and collaboration experience at the executive level; ability to effectively communicate to both financial and non-financial audiences
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to distill complex financial information into a narrative that enables decision making.
  • Collaborative attitude and the ability to establish solid partnerships and build consensus at all levels of the organization.
  • Willingness to disrupt the status quo to create positive change and improve the impact of FP&A.
  • Exceptional financial modeling skills with an ability to create sustainable and reliable models to enable better understanding and decision making.
  • Critical thinking, problem solving and inquisitiveness coupled with a desire to continuously learn new skills.
  • An ability to make decisions and move forward with limited information - an ability to “operate in the gray”
  • Knowledge of Adaptive Planning, NetSuite and data visualization tools such as PowerBI a plus

Compensation:

Base Salary: $142,500-$195,000. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
