What we're looking for:

Templafy is looking for an experienced Attorney for an integral role in providing a full range of legal services to our high-growth stage company. As a Legal Counsel, you will report to our General Counsel in New York and work closely with our Commercial Counsel, C-level executives, department heads, and individual teams to provide strategic legal advice in EMEA.

The ideal candidate will be able to take on multiple areas of responsibility and showcase critical thinking skills along with a strategic approach. This is an excellent opportunity to become a vital team member, take on a wide range of projects, and have an integral part in supporting the company's growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Structure, draft, review, negotiate, and manage a variety of legal agreements including master service agreements, service contracts, NDAs, corporate documents etc.
  • Design and implement standard processes for contracting and complying with contractual obligations
  • Monitor and update contracts required to comply with international and local law
  • Practice exceptional judgment to advise our Go-to-Market team on legal affairs and contribute to the business's overall success
  • Support our HR team in all aspects of the employment lifecycle
  • Identify, research, analyze, and advise our teams on a wide range of relevant legal topics (e.g., licensing, intellectual property, commercial, data security, and privacy law), issues, and risks

Requirements:

  • 4 + years of experience at a top-tier law firm or in-house legal department (ideally SaaS)
  • Accredited to the Danish Bar (In Danish: Advokatbestalling)
  • Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience drafting and negotiating MSAs, SoWs, and other commercial agreements
  • Ability to communicate with C-level executives internally and externally
  • Self-motivated with a business-oriented and customer-focused mindset
  • A "can-do" attitude, with drive and a 'self-starter' commitment to achieve goals
  • Fluent in English and Danish is a must.
