The Role

  • As the Director of Web Marketing at Soldo, you will play a pivotal role in reshaping our online presence. You will be responsible for planning, developing and executing a comprehensive web marketing vision to enhance brand visibility, drive traffic, engage visitors, and ultimately, convert leads into loyal customers.
  • You will lead a team of 5 people consisting of developers, SEO specialists, and UX specialists, and you will be expected to collaborate closely with numerous other teams within Marketing and across the company.
  • You will have worked for a B2B SaaS company before and understand what it takes to turn a website into a demand engine to support a high-growth business.
  • To be successful in this role you will need to be highly technical, have commercial acumen, strong operational skills, and be able to inspire, coach and motivate a team.
  • Web Development: Develop and execute a web transformation plan that enhances our brand visibility, engages our target audience, and drives lead generation and conversion.
  • Project Management: Lead the end-to-end management of web projects, from developing briefs and defining scope through planning, coordination, and execution.
  • Content Strategy: Collaborate with the content team, the product team and the Solutions team to create and maintain a content calendar that aligns with the web marketing development plan, ensuring a consistent flow of engaging and informative content.
  • SEO and SEM: Drive organic traffic growth through effective search engine optimisation (SEO) and collaborate closely with our Digital Marketing teams to execute highly effective paid search engine marketing (SEM) campaigns. Monitor keyword performance, conduct competitor analysis, and adapt strategies accordingly.
  • User Experience (UX): Focus on improving the website's UX/UI design, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience that encourages visitor engagement and conversion.
  • Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO): Implement CRO strategies and A/B testing to optimise landing pages, forms, and user journeys for maximum lead generation and conversion.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Use data-driven insights to assess the performance of web marketing initiatives. Create regular reports and dashboards to track KPIs and make data-informed decisions.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of web marketing professionals, providing guidance, setting performance objectives, and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the web marketing budget, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources and a strong ROI on marketing investments.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, product marketing, sales operations, and other marketing teams to align web marketing efforts with overall business objectives.

  • Overseen and been responsible for critical web transformation projects, including CMS platform rollout.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Proven track record of successful web marketing strategy development and execution in a B2B SaaS environment.
  • Strong knowledge of SEO, SEM, CRO, and web analytics tools (Google Analytics, SEMrush are a must).
  • Proficiency in content management systems (WordPress is a must) and website optimisation techniques.
  • Experience of working with a Project Management platform (e.g. Airtable, Monday.com, Asana)
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to think creatively, strategically, and analytically to solve complex problems.
  • Up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in web marketing.
