The role

Soldo is seeking an experienced Pre-Sales Solutions Consultant to play a pivotal role in driving growth across the UK and the rest of Europe. Based in London, this role will support our Account Executives and Customer Success Managers by taking a consultative approach to help prospective mid-market and enterprise clients reimagine their distributed spend processes—including T&E, operational purchases, and departmental spending. The successful candidate will uncover the hidden costs in a prospect’s existing workflows and demonstrate how Soldo’s spend management platform can transform efficiency and productivity. This individual will also leverage commercial acumen to build compelling business cases that illustrate ROI and accelerate the decision-making process.

The Pre-Sales Solutions Consultant will also bridge the gap to our Professional Services team, gathering and refining integration requirements, helping deliver quick, accurate proposals that address complex needs without compromising on speed. Ultimately, this role will have a direct impact on revenue generation, while elevating the client experience from initial engagement through to successful implementation.

We're looking for someone who must have:

  • Proven experience in a Pre-Sales, Solutions Consulting, or Sales Engineering role within a B2B SaaS or fintech environment. Bachelor’s degree in a related, technical field is preferred.
  • Strong consultative selling skills, with the ability to challenge customer assumptions and articulate a clear business case for change.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, demonstrating credibility, confidence, and the ability to engage and influence both technical stakeholders and senior decision-makers in the Finance function (CFOs, Finance Directors and Finance Managers).
  • Commercial acumen with the ability to construct compelling business cases, articulate ROI, and influence buying decisions.
  • Familiarity with financial business processes such as supplier payments, T&E management, or procure-to-pay workflows, including practical knowledge of day-to-day Finance activities in order to speak credibly to relevant teams.
  • Technical acumen sufficient to scope integrations and understand APIs, connectors, and associated project requirements.
  • Familiarity with HRIS, ERP, or accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and how these integrate with external platforms.
  • A collaborative, problem-solving mindset that embraces complexity and drives for successful outcomes in cross-functional settings.
  • Based in London, with the ability to cover UK and other European markets and willing to travel occasionally if required for prospect meetings or events.
