<p></p> <div class="pm-table-container with-shadow-observer" data-layout="custom" data-testid="table-container">&nbsp;</div> <div class="pm-table-container with-shadow-observer" data-layout="custom" data-testid="table-container"> <div class="pm-table-wrapper" data-number-column="false" data-layout="default" data-autosize="false" data-table-local-id="d7234795-01ee-4284-8df1-920340f9e12a" data-table-width="760" data-vc="table-node-wrapper">&nbsp;</div> </div> <h2><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h2> <h4><strong>Product Strategy &amp; Vision</strong></h4> <ul> <li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and launch new features and enhancements</li> <li>Work closely with stakeholders and customers to gather and prioritize product requirements for your L2 use case area.</li> <li>Use market research, product usage, and competitive analysis data from the Product Marketing team to identify opportunities for innovation within your L2 use case.</li> <li>Align with your Product Lead on product priorities and the use case roadmap.</li> <li>Drive strategic thinking, focusing on long-term planning and defining product horizons.</li> </ul> <h4><strong>Product Development &amp; Execution</strong></h4> <ul> <li>Prepare for quarterly capacity planning and next-cycle planning sessions.</li> <li>Facilitate sprint backlog refinement sessions and follow up on sprint progress, ensuring software quality and requirements are met.</li> <li>Process incoming Product Ideas (PIs) and manage product feedback sessions with customers.</li> <li>Create product tracking events for new features and analyze user engagement and usage data to identify areas for improvement.</li> <li>Conduct continuous product discovery activities, including validating assumptions, testing prototypes, and managing Beta programs.</li> </ul> <h4><strong>Collaboration &amp; Communication</strong></h4> <ul> <li>Represent the product team on cross-functional teams, such as marketing, sales, and engineering.</li> <li>Build strong relationships with customers and update them on product developments to boost adoption of features and concepts in your area.</li> <li>Share subject matter expertise via articles, roadmap calls, or events (e.g., theRev).</li> <li>Participate in industry events, conferences, and online forums to stay up-to-date on trends and best practices.</li> </ul> <h4><strong>Mentorship &amp; Team Building</strong></h4> <ul> <li>Onboard and mentor new team members, providing guidance to junior product managers through regular meetings.</li> <li>Share knowledge and experience with the broader product team through workshops, SALT meetings, and internal communication platforms like AMPED groups.</li> </ul> <h4><strong>Subject Matter Expertise</strong></h4> <ul> <li>Become a subject matter expert in your area, using the product to ensure it meets the quality bar and fulfills customer needs.</li> <li>Provide feedback to engineering leaders through regular one-on-one meetings.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <h2><strong>Key Performance Outcomes</strong></h2> <p><strong>Product Strategy and Execution:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Successfully deliver impactful product changes, such as launching new features, strategically deprecating outdated ones, and implementing several customer-driven enhancements every six months. These initiatives must be completed within your designated L2 use case area, on time, and within the allocated budget.</li> <li>Drive measurable improvements in key product metrics relevant to your L2 use case, such as user adoption, engagement, and conversion rates, by leveraging data insights and customer feedback with a focus on strategic initiatives that align with overall business objectives</li> <li>Manage the execution of the product roadmap by clearly defining and achieving key milestones and timelines, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and stakeholder expectations. Collaborate cross-functionally to identify potential hurdles and adjust plans as needed to maintain progress toward our business goals</li> <li>Deliver impactful product roadmap presentations to customers in your area that align with Showpad's overall objectives and customer needs.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Customer Focus and Innovation:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Conduct at least 5 monthly customer interviews to gather feedback and identify opportunities</li> <li>Ensure your roadmap is contributing to resolving most business-critical customer PIs</li> <li>Engage with customers to collect feedback / validate solutions</li> <li>Integrate customer feedback early and often in the cycle to maximize business impact</li> <li>Actively monitor key innovation trends and your competition and think about how they translate to your area</li> <li>Dedicate time to experimenting with new ideas</li> </ul> <p><strong>Collaboration and Team Leadership:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Promote collaboration and knowledge-sharing by actively engaging in team meetings with product and cross-functional teams, both in real-time and asynchronously, to ensure alignment, effective communication, and transparency.</li> <li>Mentor and guide junior product managers, helping them develop and strengthen their core skills to foster their professional growth and career progression.&nbsp;</li> <li>Effectively represent the product team in cross-functional and senior management meetings, keeping stakeholders informed and aligned on product updates and initiative progress</li> </ul> <p><strong>Metrics and Analysis:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Regularly track and analyze product performance metrics (e.g., user engagement, feature usage) and provide data-driven insights to inform product decisions.</li> <li>Leverage data and market insights during the product planning process to develop compelling candidates for high-impact product features or initiatives</li> <li>Collaborate closely with the analytics team to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate actionable insights that drive feature prioritization and optimization within the AMPED cluster, ensuring data-backed decision-making for continuous product improvement.</li> <li>Productize data by developing intuitive features that transform user activity and use case metrics into actionable insights</li> </ul> <p><strong>Communication and Visibility:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Turn new features and improvements into blog posts or other shareable content.
