Location: This role is open to candidates based in Chicago, Austin, Boston, or NYC. If you're in Chicago, you'll work from the office two days a week. If you're based in Austin, Boston, or NYC, you'll meet with the team in person twice a month.
About the Designer at Showpad:
As a Designer at Showpad, you will report to the Senior Creative Director on the brand marketing team.
You’ll collaborate with a global team of designers, content writers, web developers, and freelance creatives to support the marketing team’s goals of increasing customer engagement, raising brand awareness, and building pipeline with prospects.
Creative, detail-oriented, and collaborative, you’ll contribute to a wide range of design projects, from brainstorming and creating moodboards to finalizing deliverables. Your work will help bring Showpad’s brand to life across digital and physical platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute user-focused creative work across various formats, such as:
- Showpad.com landing pages
- Email headers
- Blog article artwork
- Presentation designs
- Social media graphics
- Event branding
- Video assets
- Trade show and conference visuals
- Employer brand materials
- Editable design templates for our internal Showpad account
- Work on multiple design projects, ensuring quality and meeting deadlines.
- Apply and maintain a consistent brand identity across all materials.
- Collaborate with teams, including product marketing, sales enablement, and people operations, to understand project needs and deliver effective design solutions.
- Understand Showpad’s ideal customer profile (ICP) to create designs that resonate with target audiences.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 3-5 years of graphic design experience.
- Proficiency with tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, Google Suite, and Asana, with a willingness to learn new technologies.
- Understanding of design principles (typography, color, layout, photography, and illustration) and the ability to create cohesive visual identities.
- Knowledge of web design best practices, including responsive design and information hierarchy.
- Experience managing design projects from start to finish, with strong organizational skills.
- Creativity and problem-solving abilities to deliver innovative solutions.
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality designs.
- Strong communication skills to articulate concepts and collaborate with internal stakeholders.
- Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, global environment.
- Portfolio showcasing a range of creative design projects across different mediums.
Additional Skills
- Experience working in a design function in a corporate environment or enterprise software company is a plus.
- Experience with additional design, animation, and video editing tools, including Sketch, WebFlow, Rive, Marketo, and AfterEffects is a plus.
