Position Overview:

Showpad is seeking a visionary Sr. Creative Director to lead our dynamic design team. As the Sr. Creative Director, you will be responsible for setting the creative and content direction, driving innovation, and ensuring the highest standards of design excellence across all aspects of our product portfolio. This role reports to the Vice President of Marketing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design Strategy: Develop and articulate a clear design vision and strategy aligned with Showpad's brand identity and business objectives. Lead the integration of design thinking into product development processes.
  • Lead content strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive content strategies aligned with organizational goals, audience needs, and industry trends to drive engagement, brand awareness, and lead generation.
  • Manage content creation: Oversee a team of writers to produce high-quality, compelling content across various channels such as blogs, social media, email, and website, ensuring consistency in messaging and adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Analyze and optimize performance: Utilize data-driven insights to evaluate content effectiveness, identify areas for improvement, and optimize strategies to enhance audience engagement, SEO performance, and conversion rates.
  • Team Leadership: Provide inspirational leadership and mentorship to a multidisciplinary design team, fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, and continuous improvement. Set performance goals, conduct regular performance reviews, and support the professional development of team members.
  • Creative Direction: Define and maintain consistent design standards, principles, and guidelines across all products and platforms. Lead the creation of innovative, user-centered design solutions that enhance usability, functionality, and visual appeal.
  • Experience Design: Oversee the end-to-end design process for Showpad’s website, campaigns, and event experiences, from concept ideation and wireframing to prototyping and final implementation. Collaborate cross-functionally with the go-to-market team to translate user needs and business requirements into intuitive, elegant design solutions.
  • User Experience (UX) Design: Champion a user-first approach to design, conducting user research, usability testing, and iterative design reviews to gather insights and validate design decisions. Advocate for the needs of our users and ensure a seamless and intuitive user experience across all touchpoints.
  • Visual Design: Drive the development of compelling visual designs, including interface layouts, typography, iconography, and branding elements. Ensure visual consistency and brand integrity while pushing the boundaries of creativity and innovation.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, marketing, and sales, to align design initiatives with business goals and priorities. Communicate design strategies, concepts, and rationale effectively to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Quality Assurance: Establish processes and methodologies for quality assurance and design review, ensuring that design deliverables meet high standards of quality, accuracy, and completeness. Conduct regular design critiques and audits to maintain design integrity and coherence.
  • Market and Competitive Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape related to design and user experience. Leverage market insights and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for differentiation and innovation.

Minimum Requirements:

    • Experience in B2B SaaS strongly preferred
    • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in graphic design related industry.
    • Proven experience managing and leading a team.
    • A portfolio of dynamic and versatile design samples that demonstrate applicable project work.
    • Proficient in directing and collaborating with a variety of creative disciplines (e.g. 2D/3D designers, copywriters, strategists, video editors, etc.).
    • Innate problem solver who leads with composure, creativity, collaboration and empathy.
    • Excellent client service, self-motivation and time management skills required.
    • Must be an effective project leader, a clear communicator and consensus builder, highly organized, very detail-oriented and able to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Technical Skills:
      • Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, InDesign, etc)
      • Apple Keynote & Microsoft Powerpoint
      • Google Workspace (Slides, Docs, Sheets)
      • Strong ability to design for the web and other digital mediums.
