Introduction:

Are you ready to kick-start your IT career in an award-winning tech company? At quantilope, we automate consumer research to unlock high-quality insights with speed and ease. Ranked as one of the fastest-growing technology companies in Germany and a top 50 most innovative supplier for consumer research worldwide, we power data-driven decisions for over 300 global brands like Nestlé, Pepsi, and Deutsche Telekom. We are looking for a highly motivated, proactive IT Support Working Student to join our team. If you are hungry to learn, thrive in a start-up culture, and want to make a real impact on how our technical processes operate, we want to chat!

What you will be doing:

As an IT Operations Working Student, your duties will be broad and hands-on:

  • First-Responder Support: Be the primary technical support resource for all employees, swiftly diagnosing and resolving IT issues from Wi-Fi and access management to software configuration and printer maintenance and support.

  • Zero-Touch Device Provisioning: Handle the entire lifecycle for employee hardware (primarily macOS and some Windows laptops). This includes configuration, deployment, tracking, and recovery, often using Mobile Device Management (MDM) tools.

  • SaaS/Cloud Management: Manage user accounts, permissions, and security settings across our critical Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) applications (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Slack, Jira).

  • Security & Compliance: Assist in executing basic security procedures, such as managing Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), monitoring security alerts, and ensuring all devices meet baseline security compliance standards.

  • Documentation & Automation: Create clear, concise internal documentation (Confluence articles, FAQs) and look for opportunities to automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency.

  • A/V & Meeting Room Tech: Ensure our meeting rooms and hybrid setups are functional, including troubleshooting audio-visual equipment and video conferencing platforms (Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams).

Who you are:

  • Currently pursuing a degree or certification in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Excellent communication skills in English and a strong focus on providing a great user experience.

  • Strong comfort level working with a variety of users at all levels of technical expertise and troubleshooting skills with primarily macOS and some Windows environments.

  • An approachable, proactive, entrepreneurial mindset—you are ready to take ownership, learn new systems quickly, and adapt to changing priorities.

  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple small projects simultaneously.

Benefits of working at quantilope:

This internship is designed to be an exciting launchpad for your career. Out of this experience, you will gain:
  • Work daily alongside a dynamic, multicultural team across our international offices, and receive mentorship to guide your learning and professional development.
  • Practical, hands-on experience in global accounting and finance.
  • Deep exposure to real-world financial operations and systems on a global scale.
  • Thrive in a vibrant, agile environment with fast decision-making.
