Introduction:

quantilope is seeking an AI Automation Engineer to bridge the gap between technical and operational excellence across departments. As our internal automation specialist, you'll work with our Operations team and business teams like Customer Success, Sales, People & Culture, and others to identify inefficiencies in our existing business processes and the day to day work of our employees. You will design, and implement workflow automations that eliminate manual processes by removing process complexity, automating manual work or using AI prompting techniques and agentic workflows. You will promote continuous improvement and the use of automation and AI solutions across the company.

What you will be doing:

Core Responsibilities

  • Cross-functional Process Discovery: Partner with the wider revenue operations team as well as department heads and team leads to identify automation opportunities, document current business processes and workflows using BPMN or UML, and prioritize solutions based on business impact.

  • Automation Development: Design and build workflow automations using state-of-the-art AI technology and automation tools like n8n, make, or similar platforms.

  • Integration Management: Maintain and optimize integrations across core software platforms like Salesforce, Marketo & Google Workspace, ensuring reliability, security, and scalability.

  • Documentation & Training: Create comprehensive documentation for all automations and train other team members on new processes & technologies.

Strategic Impact

  • Promote automation: Promote a culture of continuous improvement and the use of automation & AI technologies across departments by creating awareness, providing training, and demonstrating the tangible benefits of such solutions.

  • Business Process Consulting: Act as internal consultant to evaluate and recommend process improvements beyond just automation.

  • ROI Measurement: Establish metrics to track time savings, error reduction, and productivity gains from automation initiatives.

Who you are:

Technical Requirements

  • Automation Platforms: 2+ years experience with workflow automation tools (n8n, Zapier, make or similar)

  • API Integration: Strong understanding of REST APIs, webhooks, and system integrations

  • DevOps Understanding: Basic understanding of version control systems, deployment practices and infrastructure concepts

Business Skills

  • Process Analysis: Proven ability to analyze complex business workflows and identify optimization opportunities

  • Stakeholder Management: Excellence in collaborating with non-technical teams to gather requirements and manage expectations

  • Project Management: Experience in managing multiple complex projects simultaneously across a multitude of stakeholders with clear prioritization

  • Communication: Ability to translate technical concepts for business stakeholders and business needs for technical implementation

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in SaaS or technology companies

  • Background in business analytics or product management

  • Basic SQL skills for data extraction and manipulation

  • Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce), marketing automation platforms (Marketo, Hubspot), HR systems (Personio) and other core software platforms

Compensation: 60.000 - 90.000€ + 15% Bonus
