The opportunity
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring all aspects of payroll are processed and compliant with relevant regulations and policies. This role requires strong analytical skills, a high level of accuracy, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
What you’ll be doing
Payroll Processing:
- Accurately process global bi-weekly/monthly payrolls for all employees, including regular, overtime, and incentive payments.
- Ensure timely and accurate payroll distribution.
- Maintain payroll records and prepare necessary payroll reports.
Compliance:
- Ensure payroll practices comply with country, federal, state, and local regulations.
- Stay updated with changes in payroll laws and regulations.
- Prepare and file payroll tax reports and payments in a timely manner.
Employee Support:
- Address payroll-related inquiries from employees, people operations and resolve any discrepancies.
- Provide guidance on payroll policies and procedures.
- Assist with onboarding new employees regarding payroll setup and procedures.
Data Management:
- Maintain accurate employee records in the payroll system.
- Ensure data integrity and perform regular audits to ensure accuracy.
- Handle sensitive information with utmost confidentiality.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with People team, Finance, and other departments to ensure seamless payroll operations.
- Assist with the development and implementation of payroll policies and procedures.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance payroll efficiency.
Reporting:
- Generate payroll reports for management and audit purposes.
- Provide financial data and reports as required by management.
- Assist with year-end processing and reporting, including P60’s, W-2s and other tax documents.
