The opportunity.

We are expanding our APAC sales organisation, to ensure we maximise the potential in all of the markets and customers we serve. As part of this expansion, we are hiring a Head of FSI Sales for the Pacific region, covering insurance and banking in Australia and New Zealand. This is a senior player / coach role where you will manage the high-performing FSI sales team and assume responsibility for the execution of the Australia and New Zealand FSI sales strategy. Reporting into the Asia Pacific RVP, you will actively help to shape the strategy going forward. You will take responsibility of our existing FSI customer base (which includes 3 of the Big 4 banks), whilst breaking into new logos. In addition to managing the team and taking overall responsibility for the execution of the strategy, as a player coach, you will take on personal responsibility for a key strategic account, or a portfolio of new logos.

What you’ll be doing.

  • Taking responsibility for the execution of the FSI sales strategy in Australia and New Zealand
  • Working closely with the APAC RVP to shape and influence strategy going forward
  • Management of the FSI Sales team, providing coaching, mentorship, guidance, and career development
  • Ensuring that Quantexa sales methodologies and process are adopted consistently across the team
  • Ensuring that quotas are met across the team, and that Quantexa’s opportunity in the FSI account base is being maximised.
  • Directly taking on sales ownership for either a strategic account, or a portfolio of new logos
  • Engaging with the C Suite and senior business stakeholders to understand their complex challenges, you will uncover the underlying pain, and the cost of doing nothing.
  • Supported by our Solutions Engineers and SME’s to demonstrate how Quantexa can address these critical business issues, will be part of your day to day remit.
  • You will develop a pipeline of tangible opportunities across our Solution Suites, from Financial Crime, to Fraud, Risk KYC and more within Banking and Insurance businesses.
  • You will own, and be accountable for the client relationship, driving opportunities through the sales cycle to closure.
  • Reporting into the APAC RVP, you will be accountable for delivering net new annual revenues through a software license contract, with a Sales cycle of typically 12-18 months.
  • This is a senior position, and you will put Quantexa first and work collaboratively to continually help us improve our rapidly growing business across APAC.
  • For the right candidate, this role could provide a short path to a role as Head of Sales for Australia and New Zealand (all sectors).
