The Business Development team drives new customer acquisition across Europe and the UK - identifying, qualifying, and converting Health & Beauty buyers into active Qogita customers. As part of the team, you’ll also have exposure to Qogita’s New Ventures work, our internal venture-building engine exploring new markets, product categories, and business opportunities.
As a New Ventures Intern (Business Development), your mission is to support the team in building and converting the customer pipeline while gaining hands-on exposure to how new business opportunities are identified, tested, and developed. You’ll build core commercial skills across B2B sales, customer acquisition, market research, and early-stage venture building - giving you a strong foundation for a career in sales, business development, or entrepreneurship.

- Acquisition: Convert new sign-ups into active customers by facilitating their first order and guiding them through the onboarding process
- Reactivation: Re-engage churned prospects to bring them back to the platform, using structured outreach and tailored follow-up
- Qualifying: Assess prospects during screening calls to determine their potential as qualified leads, applying clear criteria to prioritise pipeline
- Sales pitching: Deliver product demonstrations and sales pitches to prospective suppliers, communicating Qogita's value proposition clearly and persuasively
- Follow-up and closing: Manage follow-ups to move prospects through the sales funnel and close deals, contributing to both individual and team targets
- CRM management: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and pipeline status in HubSpot
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business or a related field
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and at least one additional European language.
- Strong customer-centric mindset with the ability to build rapport with SMB suppliers
- Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Available for full-time, office-based hours for six months in Amsterdam
- Available to join in September 2026
