Responsibilities
As a Machine Learning / 3D Engineer at Omi, your responsibilities and missions will be:
Develop and deploy machine learning models, with a focus on 3D technologies, generative AI, and computer vision applications.
Refine existing generative AI algorithms to improve current pipelines.
Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, and computer vision, applying new findings to our product development.
Develop prototypes and proof-of-concepts to showcase new features and capabilities.
Work closely with our development team to integrate AI technologies into our platform.
Required Skills and Qualifications
For this role, the required qualifications are:
Strong programming skills in Python.
Experience with Blender or other 3D modelling software.
Geometric knowledge concerning camera projection, intrinsics and extrinsics.
Experience using new ML rendering technologies such as Gaussian Splats and/or NERFs.
Knowledge of computer vision using software libraries such as OpenCV.
Understanding of machine learning and deep learning algorithms.
Experience with generative AI model components, including transformers and autoencoders.
Proficiency with machine learning frameworks and libraries such as SciKit, PyTorch.
Experience in deploying machine learning models in production environments.
Solid understanding of data pre-processing, feature engineering, and model optimization techniques.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to tackle complex challenges independently and as part of a team.
Ability to convey technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical colleagues.
Availability to travel to Paris each quarter and stay for 1-2 weeks.
Nice to Haves
For this role, the bonus qualifications are:
Knowledge of serverless architectures and cloud environments.
Familiarity with software development best practices, version control systems (e.g., Git).
Interest in LLMs and knowledge of LangChain or related libraries.
