Minute Media is seeking a Yield Analyst. Responsible for the configuration, operation and continuous optimisation of video players and ad units across the MinuteMedia O&O portfolio, ensuring every player environment is correctly set up, commercially maximised and delivering the best possible experience for users and advertisers. A hands-on technical and analytical role within the Yield & Revenue Strategy team.

What You’ll Do

  • Helping to set-up and analyse video player configurations – including the Ad scheduling, layout behaviour, monetisation and content distribution – across the Minute Media network.
  • Helping to determine the optimal ad stack and ad unit structuring for all Minute Media O&O properties - brainstorming avenues to investigate utilising various A/B tools.
  • Providing intelligent analysis and insight into revenue, supply and demand patterns across the business in order to provide yield-maximisation suggestions.
  • Ensuring that the Distribution of Video Content across the network is optimised both in terms of content costs, margin efficiency and advertiser revenues but also in terms of user experience and brand impact.
  • Working closely with the rest of the Campaign Ops team on the management of advertising campaigns and helping to craft supply allocation plans for key campaigns.
  • Providing insight and guidance to the MM+ team to help maximise revenue and performance across all third-party publisher inventory.
  • Identifying and troubleshooting operational issues across the business that could be leading to margin and revenue loss.
  • Understanding the operational functionality of the various proprietary Minute, Media Ad-Tech tools that are utilised across the portfolio (Video Player, VMS, Display Injection and Ad Server), and the options that these tools provide to affect the revenues and margin of the various business units.
  • Working closely with the Ad Tech Product team to provide input into the refinement of existing products, and creation of new ones to help drive optimisation efforts. For example - Ad Server Auction Logic. This is one of our main ways to affect yield now as we are creating the rules that govern how our video player prioritises different demand sources.
  • Working with the Business Intelligence team to utilise their support on building out sophisticated reporting dashboards.

The expected salary for this position is $122,000. Actual pay will be determined based on skills, experience, and location. This position is also eligible for performance-based compensation. Requirements

  • 3 years of experience in accounting and budgeting
  • 1+ years as a yield analyst
  • Master’s degree in business administration or finance.
