Location
Even though our company operates exclusively on a remote basis, you are required to reside in Europe (inc UK) and have legal work eligibility within the country you will be based.

As an Accounting Manager, you'll have the opportunity to oversee crucial accounting functions, guide a talented team, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. You will also act as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert in accounting and compliance, providing strategic insights and guidance.

You Will
- Coordinate and execute the month-end close process for three entities (USA, UK, Latvia), preparing timely and accurate consolidated and standalone financial statements.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies, including US GAAP standards (ASC 340-40, ASC 606, ASC 718 and others).
- Coordinate audit activities and liaise with external auditors and advisors to ensure successful completion and compliance.
- Evaluate, implement, and maintain financial systems and software to enhance reporting and operational efficiency.
- Mentor and develop a small team of accounting professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
- Complete ad-hoc projects
You Must Have
- At least 7 years of progressive experience in full close-cycle accounting; preferably at a rapidly scaling tech SaaS business, with a minimum of 2 years in leadership roles.
- Possesses professional certifications such as CPA, CGMA, ACCA, ACAF, or similar
- Strong knowledge of accounting practices and U.S. GAAP, and regulatory requirements.
- Advanced Excel skills and a working knowledge of accounting software, e.g. Rillet, Netsuite, SAP or similar.
- Proven track record of leading major financial projects, such as system implementations or process automation.
- Familiarity with SaaS-specific metrics (e.g., MRR, ARR, CAC, churn, etc.)
- A demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- A demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop staff.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with sales, operations, product, and executive teams.
- An undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance.
