About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and adaptable Senior IT and Systems Manager to join our team of over 150 employees. This role is ideal for someone with a solid foundation in IT support and systems engineering, who is eager to take ownership of infrastructure and contribute to continuous improvement across our technology landscape.

You will work closely with teams across the business to ensure the reliability, security, and performance of our IT systems. Responsibilities include configuring and maintaining hardware and software, managing system upgrades, troubleshooting complex technical issues, and supporting users to ensure a seamless and efficient experience.

This is a very hands-on role, but we are looking for someone who can grow an IT team as our business expands. If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you!

What you’ll be doing

Provide first-line technical support to team members, resolving hardware, software, and network issues

Run day-to-day IT operations, including system monitoring, patching, and updates

Manage IT procurement, including ordering devices, accessories, and software licenses

Set up and configure business equipment, ensuring secure and efficient access to essential tools

Work with finance to maintain an accurate inventory of IT assets and licenses

Assist in maintaining and updating IT documentation and internal knowledge bases

Collaborate with Engineering and other teams to ensure seamless systems integration

Support onboarding and offboarding processes from a technical perspective

Contribute to IT projects and help shape future systems and infrastructure improvements

Skills We Need for This Role

Recent and current experience in IT support or systems engineering, ideally within a fast-paced, fast-growing, business environment

Strong working knowledge of configuring laptops, managing software licenses, and supporting business-critical tools

Experience with Microsoft 365 administration and collaboration tools

Confident troubleshooting of hardware, software, and network issues across Windows and macOS environments

Familiarity with IT procurement processes and asset lifecycle management

Understanding of basic security principles and ability to deliver user training on IT security best practices

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Clear and professional communication skills, with the ability to support users across all levels of the business

Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain high standards of documentation

A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and contribute to continuous improvement
