Join us as a (Senior) Software Engineer and help build the next generation of Hoxhunt's human-first cybersecurity platform. We are growing rapidly and expanding our tech team to support our ambitious goals. You'll play a key role in building and evolving our customer-facing product.
Your focus will be on full-stack development, with data-driven backend work and clean, user-friendly UI. You’ll help us strengthen our technical platform’s foundation and contribute to its scalability, security, and integration capabilities.
You'll be working on a variety of impactful projects, including:
- Building and maintaining our customer admin application, related backend systems and third-party integrations
- Building a robust, scalable platform that supports multi-tenancy, advanced user segmentation, and granular access control
- Developing and managing user management features and customer-specific settings
- Driving backend development with a strong focus on performance, observability, reliability, and data management

Location and salary range
This role is based out of our headquarters in Helsinki.
The salary range for the position is €5000–€6500, depending on your skills and experience.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for an experienced and solution-oriented full-stack engineer who is interested in building reliable and scalable products. You don't need to have every skill in the book, but solid experience, curiosity, and the ability to work across the stack are key.
Skills you need to succeed in this role:
- Solid hands-on experience with Node.js
- Good working knowledge of React and TypeScript
- Experience working on scalable, data-driven products
- A clear understanding of how to build reliable, secure, and maintainable digital products
- Fluent in spoken and written English
It’s a plus if you’ve worked with:
- GraphQL, MongoDB, or Go
- Multi-tenancy, user segmentation, or third-party integrations
- SaaS products or consulting roles where you’ve had product ownership
How you work:
- Confident on the backend but comfortable working across the stack
- Collaborative and open to feedback - you see features through from idea to release
- Experienced with agile development and iterative teamwork
- Continuously improving your code, processes, and how the team works together
- Able to prioritise in fast-changing environments and manage multiple demands
- You think in systems and patterns, not just tasks or quick fixes
- Focused on building with purpose, always considering impact over activity
