The What

Hoxhunt is seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial Director of Sales for the US region. This role is crucial in driving our growth strategy, leading our sales team, and closing key deals that expand our footprint in the market. As the Director of Sales, you will be responsible for shaping and executing the sales strategy, mentoring sales representatives, and directly contributing to revenue generation by fostering client relationships and closing high-impact deals.

This is in onsite roll based in Minnesota at our Edina office.

  • Sales Leadership:
    • Develop and execute the sales strategy for the US market, aligning with the company’s overall growth objectives.
    • Hire, lead, mentor, and inspire a team of sales representatives to exceed sales targets and objectives.
    • Cultivate an entrepreneurial spirit within the sales team, encouraging innovative approaches to market penetration and customer engagement.
  • Business Development:
    • Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities, focusing on high-value enterprise clients.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within target organizations.
    • Work closely with the marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure a cohesive approach to market growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Sales Enablement:
    • Provide hands-on support to sales reps throughout the sales cycle, including prospecting, pitching, negotiating, and closing deals.
    • Develop and implement sales training programs that enhance the team’s ability to close business and drive revenue.
    • Utilize data-driven insights to refine sales processes and strategies, ensuring continuous improvement and success.
  • Market Intelligence:
    • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities to keep Hoxhunt at the forefront of the cybersecurity industry.
    • Provide regular feedback to the product and marketing teams to ensure Hoxhunt’s offerings align with market needs and customer expectations.
  • Performance Management:
    • Set clear performance goals for the sales team, regularly monitor progress, and implement corrective actions as needed.
    • Report on sales performance, forecasting, and pipeline management to the executive team.

The Who

We are looking for someone with:

  • A minimum of 7-10 years of sales experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role, preferably in the cybersecurity or SaaS industry.
  • Demonstrated success in driving significant revenue growth and closing large, complex deals.
  • A self-starter with a passion for innovation and a track record of taking initiative to achieve business objectives.
  • Ability to think strategically and act tactically, balancing big-picture vision with day-to-day execution.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills with a focus on developing and empowering sales teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

The How

Our recruitment process is as follows:

  1. Call with Talent Acquisition (45 min remote)
  2. Meeting your future leader(60-120 min, at our office or remote)
  3. Panel interview (60 min, at our office or remote)
