Gelato Group
Gelato Group consists of three different business units, starting with Optimalprint as our B2C business, offering personalized products to consumers all over the world. Secondly, GelatoCreate caters to our creators through our software platform, and connects them with a global range of production partners. Lastly, we have our newest business unit, GelatoConnect. With GelatoConnect, we have built the largest ecosystem in the printing industry, which offers cost savings and efficiency improvements for production hubs all over the world.

What you will be doing
As a Product Marketing Manager for Gelato Connect, you will work at the intersection of Product Managers, Marketing, Customer Success, Sales, and UX Research. You will work directly with Product Teams, responsible for the messaging, packaging, pricing, and delivery of the products to market. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing go-to-market strategies and campaigns, ensuring effective research to support decision making.

Some of your key responsibilities will include

  • Contribute to Gelato Connect’s product marketing strategy and roadmap, in collaboration with partners across Product and Marketing

  • Drive the product marketing direction for Gelato Connect, collaborating with other Marketing and GTM teams in your specific Product/software areas

  • Define launch strategy and collaborate with marketing on channel plans to drive product adoption.

  • Develop and own product positioning, messaging and value propositions that differentiate Gelato’s solutions in the market.

  • Collaborate with marketing to craft engaging audience-specific content, including case studies, solution briefs, web content, presentations, data sheets, etc.

  • Educate internal stakeholders within Customer Service, Customer Success, Sales on new product launch benefits, messaging, features, FAQs to ensure we effectively communicate and sell our software.

  • Drive our understanding of buyer/decision-maker personas and journeys, and the jobs-to-be-done to streamline both digital/self-serve and sales-driven/assisted experiences for your specific product/software area

  • Ensure product adoption and outcome KPIs/measurements are in place and continually monitored to drive ongoing promotions and revenue growth

  • Proactively identify areas to continuously advance Gelato’s Product Marketing capabilities, including process & tool recommendations that improve the teams’ efficiency and effectiveness.

Through your leadership, experience, and insight, you will position Gelato to address business challenges, contribute to the software product strategy, and provide thought leadership. You will be expected to prioritize and manage your work with minimal guidance from leadership or other product team members. You have a start-up mentality, incredible stamina, resilience, and grit. You’re a doer. You adapt and change until you succeed. Embracing change, complexity, and ambiguity while also navigating a little bit of chaos is essential for success in this role. Our requirements for this role include:

  • 5+ years of software marketing experience, including 4 within product marketing.

  • Deep understanding of Agile and DevOps methodologies across the entire Software
    Development Lifecycle

  • Outstanding English communication skills to explain and translate complex technical
    concepts into simple and intuitive communications.

  • Able to coordinate across many teams and iterate and deliver in a fast-moving
    startup environment.

  • Proven experience being self-directed and working with minimal supervision.

  • Data-driven, use data to measure results and inform decision making and strategy
    development.

  • Experience with Software-as-a-Service offerings a plus.

  • Experience designing sales and marketing collateral from scratch based on sales
    conversations, sales calls, product interviews, user interviews, market research, and
    your own experience.

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
