The position
We are seeking a talented Senior Financial Controller to join our growing team. You will be part of the Finance team and work with Financial analysts, consolidation, assist the accounting team with monthly financial reporting and prepare financial statements and tax reporting for legal entities in Gelato Group. You will be working closely with all members of the finance team and Gelato’s leadership team on cross-functional projects. Financial statements and monthly financial reporting are prepared in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
What you’ll be doing
Financial analysis.
Consolidation for Gelato Group.
Assist accounting team with monthly financial reporting.
Review and prepare Financial statements for legal entities in Gelato Group in accordance with IFRS.
Review and prepare tax reporting for legal entities in Gelato Group.
Implementation and improvement of ERP system for Gelato Group.
Ensure legal entities in Gelato Group are tax compliant.
Responsible for transfer pricing.
Responsible for corporate governance.
Support Strategic Finance team with budget process.
Additional responsibilities include, but not limited to, communicating and escalating relevant issues to the Finance team and leadership team, leading initiatives for process improvement within the finance department.

A master’s degree in finance or audit.
4+ years professional experience from an audit company.
Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills.
Strong attention to details.
Strong IFRS experience.
Excellent written communication skills.
