About the job

We're looking for a Financial Analyst who thrives on turning data into decisions. You will be the go-to person for deep-dive financial analysis, ad hoc business questions, and building the analytical frameworks that drive clarity across the organization.

You'll spend most of your time in the numbers - modelling scenarios and rapidly summarizing insights for leadership. You'll translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations for commercial and leadership teams.

What you'll do

  • Lead deep-dive financial analyses, variance investigations, and scenario modelling to explain business performance and surface key risks and opportunities
  • Respond to ad hoc requests from leadership and commercial teams - e.g. building business cases, sensitivity analyses, and bespoke models at pace
  • Develop scalable analytical frameworks and data outputs that make it faster to answer recurring and one-off business questions
  • Evaluate new tools and systems that can enhance financial reporting and modelling capabilities
  • Develop reporting frameworks and management packs to communicate financial performance to leadership
  • Partner closely with sales and operations to align on performance, business priorities, and market expansion plans

Who you are

Must haves
  • 1-3 years of experience in finance, consulting, commercial or a related field. Preferably in a fintech and/or scale-up environment
  • Strong hands-on financial modelling skills in Excel - comfortable building models from scratch, stress-testing assumptions, and structuring outputs for non-finance audiences; familiarity with BI tools (e.g. Power BI) a plus
  • Strong commercial mindset with a solid understanding of how financial performance connects to business strategy.
  • Comfortable working at pace on ad hoc requests - able to structure ambiguous questions, pull and clean data, and deliver clear output under tight timelines
  • Strong understanding of P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow dynamics
  • Structured in your way of working, with clear routines and attention to detail
  • Comfortable collaborating with stakeholders across the business and external partners
  • Fluent in Danish and English (verbal and written)
Strong pluses
  • Comfortable using AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude) to accelerate analysis - whether drafting commentary, cleaning data, or prototyping models faster
  • Experience with SQL, Python, or other data tools to accelerate financial analysis workflows
