What you'll do

Field Sales Executive – Preston
£60k–£70k OTE | Uncapped Commission | Guaranteed Minimum £2,120/month

Flatpay is one of Europe’s fastest-growing fintech companies and we’ve recently launched in the UK. We’re growing quickly and hiring across multiple territories.

The Role

Location: Preston and surrounding areas (field-based)
Territories include: Preston, Blackpool, Blackburn, Burnley, Fleetwood and Lancaster (shared across the team)
Employment: Full-time, permanent

This is a 100% commission-based role with uncapped earning potential. We offer a guaranteed minimum commission of £2,120 per month while you build your territory.

Typical earnings are £60k–£70k OTE, with higher potential for top performers.

You’ll be assigned a local patch within this territory, allowing you to build and manage your own area effectively rather than covering the full region.

Progression: High performers can progress into Territory Manager roles as we expand the UK business.

What you'll do

  • Attend around 3 qualified meetings per day booked by the BDR team and close deals
  • Generate additional deals through referrals and local canvassing
  • Demonstrate Flatpay solutions and present tailored proposals
  • Deliver and install terminals for newly signed merchants
  • Build relationships with local SME owners
  • Manage your pipeline and activity in the CRM system

Transport: Mileage reimbursed for personal vehicles and a RingGo parking account provided.

Requirements

  • Experience closing sales in a customer-facing role (B2B or B2C)
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Access to a personal vehicle
  • Willingness to travel within your assigned area
  • Payments industry experience not required.

Hiring Process

  1. Application Review – Our Talent Team reviews your CV to assess experience and potential fit.
  2. Talent Team Call (20–30 minutes) – A conversation to understand your background, confirm territory fit and discuss what motivates you.
  3. Final Interview– Depending on the role and location, this will either be:
    • a Group Assessment Session (around 2 hours with 10–15 candidates) including practical tasks and role-plays, or
    • a 1:1 Microsoft Teams interview with a Regional Manager.
  4. Offer – Successful candidates receive a fast-turnaround offer, with onboarding dates available weekly.
