You are a pragmatic, flexible, and detail-oriented problem solver who enjoys building clean, efficient, and scalable data systems. You understand when to apply best practices and when to adapt them for real-world constraints.
You’re passionate about designing reliable data infrastructure, automating workflows, and collaborating with others to build data platforms that scale. You communicate clearly and confidently in English, our primary business language, and you’re comfortable working cross-functionally with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Must-haves - 1–3 years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar role
- Strong Python and SQL skills in production environments
- Solid understanding of ETL/ELT design and data modeling principles
- Experience with CI/CD workflows, version control (e.g., Git), and testing best practices
- Ability to think logically and systematically when building and scaling data pipelines
- Proactive and collaborative mindset with strong communication skills
- Business-level proficiency in English (Danish is a big plus)
Nice-to-haves - Experience with Microsoft Fabric or similar modern data platforms
- Familiarity with data orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, Prefect, or Azure Data Factory)
- Exposure to cloud infrastructure (e.g., Azure, AWS, or GCP)
- Experience with monitoring, alerting, and observability systems
- Experience with PySpark
