Flatpay is one of the fastest growing companies in Europe and was founded 3 years ago in Copenhagen with the mission to take the stress out of card payments for SMBs.

Businesses want to focus on what they do best; running their business. But monthly hardware fees, different rates for different cards, extra costs on every transaction and frequent price increases have made payments too stressful. That’s why we started Flatpay. One flat rate across all cards - that’s it.

We’re already more than 1,000 people across Denmark, Finland, Italy, Germany and France.

What you'll do
  • Facilitate Sales Meetings:


      • Conduct and participate in sales meetings booked by our in-house booking team.
      • Present tailored solutions to prospective clients and close sales deals.
  • Cold Canvassing:


      • Proactively generate new meetings and sales through cold canvassing.
      • Reach out to potential clients via phone calls, emails, and in-person interactions.
  • Deliver Terminals:


      • Deliver terminals to the merchants you have signed.

  • Performance Metrics: The primary measure of success is the number of sales and TPV (revenue going through the card terminal at the merchant location) installed at a merchant location each month
  • On-target earnings: On-target performance is expected to yield approximately £5,000 - 6,000 per month (~£60k - 67k annually), based on sales to merchants of certain revenue size and margin
  • Commission and monthly guarantee: Commission is uncapped - e.g., if you achieve 15% above sales targets, you will be paid accordingly. If your monthly commission earnings are below £2,120, you will instead be paid a monthly guaranteed minimum of £2,120
  • Additional earnings: We also expect to run monthly and/or weekly competitions and other performance-based incentives once we are more established in the UK

  • Humble - We only work with people we like and once you join it’ll be your job to maintain that. You’re kind, low ego and people love working with you.
  • Smart - Smart isn’t proven by a university degree; smart to us means high EQ. You’re quick on your feet, love talking to people and have natural instinct for relationships.

  • Strong verbal and written persuasion skills and quick rapport building

  • Metrics-driven mindset and comfort working toward daily/weekly targets

  • Receptive to feedback and eager to learn sales best practices

  • Ability to multitask, manage time effectively and stay organised in a fast-paced environment

Background

  • No previous telesales experience required

  • 1-2 years of customer facing roles preferred (e.g customer support, retail, restaurants, telesales)

  • Fluent English

  • Right to work in the UK (we can’t offer visa sponsorship at this time)
