Element is hiring a highly organised Marketing & Events Executive on a fixed term contract to cover Maternity Leave until September 2027. This role coordinate and deliver events that support our marketing and sales pipeline. Events vary from our own annual flagship event to trade shows, industry conferences, roadshows, dinners and webinars.
This is an early-career, execution-focused role. The single most important quality is organisational rigour; the ability to keep dozens of moving parts (venues, vendors, budgets, stakeholders, deadlines, admin) on track without anything slipping.

Travel will be required to support some events:
- Mainly European travel
- Not all events
- Once or twice per quarter
What you’ll be doing.
- Plan and deliver Element's presence at trade shows, industry conferences (including the government/defence conference circuit) and partner events; stand logistics, brochure printing, shipping, registrations, staffing rotas, ensuring lead capture etc
- Organise webinars, roadshows and smaller marketing/sales events end to end, from booking through to follow-up
- Manage relationships with venues, event organisers, vendors and suppliers, negotiating costs and keeping every event within its budget
- Coordinate with Marketing and Sales stakeholders so each event has the right collateral, messaging and staff briefed and ready
- Provide on-site support at selected events, including some occasional travel (within Europe and beyond)
- Track logistics, budgets and deadlines across multiple concurrent events, flagging risks early
- Report on event budgets and prepare post-event recaps covering attendance, delivery issues, spend, leads captured, and operational recommendations for future events
- Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail. This is the single most important requirement for the role. You can keep multiple projects, deadlines, suppliers, budgets, and small operational details under control without losing sight of the bigger picture
- Some prior experience in events, marketing coordination, hospitality or administration is welcome, but not essential if other proof points around organisational skills exist
- Comfortable managing multiple deadlines, suppliers and stakeholder requests a once, able to prioritise effectively, and staying calm when plans change at short notice
- Confident communicator, able to brief and coordinate colleagues across Marketing and Sales
- Fluent written and spoken English. An additional European language is welcome and useful for supplier and attendee coordination across Element’s European markets, but is not essential
