  • Draft, review, and implement employment policies and procedures to support a fast-growing international workforce.

  • Oversee and manage employment disputes, including grievances, investigations, and external claims, and work with external counsel when necessary.

  • Deliver training sessions to HR and business leaders on employment law compliance and best practices.

  • Work closely with the People team to create and update employment contracts, policies, and separation agreements, and develop relevant training programs.

  • Proactively identify legal risks and opportunities and recommend appropriate actions.

  • Monitor emerging trends in employment law, including regulatory changes and enforcement, to keep the business well-informed and compliant.

  • Lead process improvements to scale the employment law function across the organisation.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Qualified lawyer in the UK, France or another EU jurisdiction.

  • Minimum of 8 years PQE in employment law, with both law firm and in-house counsel experience at a multinational company.

  • Strong knowledge of European employment law - particularly French employment law - and proven experience advising on cross-border employment matters across EMEA.

  • Prior in-house experience at a technology company is highly preferred.

  • Experience with collective labour law matters, including engaging with works councils or unions.

Desired Skills and Attributes

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strategic, business-oriented approach to legal problem-solving.

  • Collaborative and team-oriented with strong leadership qualities and a proactive mindset.
