Dataiku is looking for a revenue operations intern to join our company’s growth journey. Working out of one of Dataiku’s major offices in Paris we are looking for someone with integrity, assiduity and strong organizational skills. This position requires availability for a six-month period from September to February.

You will work with cross-functional teams (Sales, Finance, Contracts, etc.) to support software licensing processes, maintain a clean organization of data in our business systems and support general pre-sales operations requests. This opportunity will provide an understanding of software product offerings and how they relate to the license request & generation. It will also bring awareness to the lead-to-revenue management processes and entity contracting practices.

How you'll make an impact

Licensing activities:

  • Review and approve Dataiku license key generation and distribution requests based on thorough verification between the request and corresponding signed orders from customers;

  • Explanation of what needs to be fixed in case of rejection;

  • Ensure that license generation/delivery is done on time to ensure proper Revenue Recognition, particularly at the end of months and quarters;

  • Answer questions and provide level 1 support to Sales teams on the licensing topics;

  • Provide an analysis of licensing data and its management in the SalesForce platform and recommend standardization initiatives, aiming at data consistency and cleanliness;

  • Conduct reviews of strategic accounts while enabling the Sales organization on the various licensing topics.

Customer process activities:

  • Assist to respond to general pre-sales operations requests in the context of RFIs, RFPs and other vendor information requests;

  • Help with the development of a data masterfile for our tendering processes. This involves gathering company data around various topics such as product, privacy, CSR and compliance.

What you'll need to be successful:

  • Strong organizational skills, diligence and rigorous attention to detail;

  • Spreadsheets (Excel, GSheet) and CRM systems (SalesForce) skills;

  • Good communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate and present complex situations and concepts;

  • Willingness to learn and adapt to a fast-paced, changing environment;

  • Ability to keep up with frequent changes to policies, procedures, and people;

  • Ability to work independently;

  • Ability to work remotely with global teams;

  • Curious and resourceful.

What will make you stand out:

  • Looking for an end of studies internship in Business Administration, International Business, Sales Operations, or a related field;

  • Fluent in English. A second language is a plus (but not a requirement);

  • Want to develop business awareness and understanding of the lead-to-revenue management process and contracting practices;

  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and creative problem-solving skills.
