At Dataiku, we're not just adapting to the AI revolution, we're leading it. Since our beginning in Paris in 2013, we've been pioneering the future of AI with a platform that makes data actionable and accessible. With over 1,000 teammates across 25 countries and backed by a renowned set of investors, we're the architects of Everyday AI, enabling data experts and domain experts to work together to build AI into their daily operations, from advanced analytics to Generative AI.

Dataiku is looking for a Staff Analytics Engineer to join our Enterprise Data and Analytics team in Paris. At this level of seniority, non-technical skills and business acumen are important, but you will of course be expected to operate at a high technical level. Our Analytics Engineers work on the Dataiku platform every day and, aside from the visual tools, use mostly SQL and Python with occasional work in other languages, with a good working knowledge of Snowflake and the software development lifecycle. The ideal candidate is naturally curious, has excellent verbal and written communication skills, a sharp analytical mind, a positive attitude towards work and thrives when collaborating towards a shared goal.

  • Actively participate in and drive the Analytics Engineering roadmap, communicate timelines, and manage development cycles/sprints to deliver value.
  • Participate in the end of month closing and update of reference datasets supporting the company’s most important metrics including ARR, NDR, ARPU, Headcount, Product Adoption
  • Maintain a standard on data quality (monitoring, adherence to the principles of data governance, punctual data clean-up efforts) to ensure continuous delivery of accurate metrics. Advance automation efforts that help the team spend less time manipulating & validating data and more time analyzing.
  • Respond to the most urgent or most complex ad-hoc data related inquiries to support the highest executives of the company (C-Levels, VPs...)
  • Proactively identify and explore new opportunities through creative analytical and engineering methods. Use dedicated innovation time to explore and work on GenAI related use cases that might be transformational for the team or the business.
  • Actively contribute to the expertise level and competencies of the EDA Team and participate in the creation and support of analytics development standards and best practices.
  • Promote self-service analytics within Dataiku by providing technical support, expertise and empowerment to the larger community of analysts. Mentor fellow analysts and help them act as successful stewards of the data products built and maintained by the EDA team.
