This role consists of engaging prospects and customers about their AI and advanced analytics initiatives and positioning Dataiku’s platform and services as a means to improved results, efficiency and analytic maturity.
The Enterprise Account Executive is the CEO of their territory, responsible for the entire sales cycle and able to manage company resources to maximize value to the client and revenues for Dataiku. The Enterprise Account Executive will work cross functionally with Marketing, Product Management and Engineering, and various other teams throughout Dataiku.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Building territory and account plans; prospecting and building relationships within a region and target accounts
- Educating prospects and customers on the strategic value of Dataiku
- Driving revenue through proactive upsell and cross-sell within existing accounts and closing new accounts
- Providing consultative recommendations based on a customer’s business needs, usage scenarios and goals
- Managing multiple customers simultaneously at various stages of the Dataiku buying cycle
- Developing C-Level vision and relationships, developing champions and aligning needs, support and funding across client teams and departments
- Handling customer relationships across all dimensions including, for example, billing, legal, security, and technical inquiries
- Serving as the voice of the customer and collecting feedback to drive continuous improvement across all areas including product
- Creating a clear strategy around the customers and prospects objectives, and aligning all internal stakeholders to the execution of this strategy
- Staying current and developing expertise in relevant areas of AI/ML, Generative AI, business transformation, data management and advanced analytics
- Other duties as assigned from time to time
Success Profile:
- 5-7 years’ experience in software field sales, or other relevant sales experience
- Strong proven Enterprise Selling skills; consistent top performer
- Background in selling innovation and new concepts to large enterprises
- Strong ability to develop a vision and strategy to match the prospects’ and customers’ needs and to develop alignment across different groups and cultivate champions
- Familiarity and understanding of AI/ML, Advanced Analyics and Cloud Computing trends and industry
- Good articulation of competitive positioning--Understanding of Enterprise Analytics
- Domain expertise in big data, analytics, data science, BI/DW, data integration preferred
- Possesses advanced interpersonal communication skills
- Is adaptable with a growth mindset
