About the Role
As a Senior Product Manager, you will take end-to-end ownership of product strategy, development, and execution to deliver high-impact solutions that drive business growth and customer value. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, define clear goals, and build products that are innovative, scalable, and user-centric. Your focus would be to own the development of data and AI-powered products that turn Cover Genius’s cross-portfolio data into actionable insights for partners.
This is not a traditional reporting or dashboard role. You will be responsible for identifying proprietary data signals, determining how they can create value for partners, and turning them into scalable data products.
Key Responsibilities:
Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, aligning with overall company goals.
Own the product strategy and roadmap for Agentic Insights, and Cover Genius’s data products.
Identify valuable data signals across claims, sales, pricing, customer behavior, operations, and other datasets, and determine how they can be transformed into partner-facing products and insights.
Gather, analyze, and synthesize user feedback and data to continuously improve the product and user experience.
Develop a deep understanding of how partners make decisions around product design, pricing, conversion, claims, and operations, and use that understanding to prioritize the data products we build.
Collaborate closely with engineering, design, and operations other cross-functional teams to ensure successful product development, launch, and iteration.
Prioritize and manage the product backlog, making trade-offs based on business value, technical feasibility, and time constraints.
Track, analyze, and report on key product metrics to measure success, identify areas for improvement, and inform future product development.
Skills and Experience:
5–7+ years of Product Management experience, ideally including ownership of data, analytics, intelligence, or AI-powered products.
Proven experience turning large or complex datasets into products that help users make decisions, rather than simply exposing data through dashboards.
Strong understanding of analytics concepts including metrics definition, segmentation, cohort analysis, benchmarking, and experimentation.
Experience building AI-powered products, including LLM-based analytical or conversational experiences, is highly advantageous.
Experience in high-growth SaaS startups or similar global tech companies
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. A background in computer science, engineering, statistics, economics, data science, or another quantitative discipline is advantageous
Proficiencies and Attributes:
Driven, energetic, and a "good enough is not enough" mentality.
Strong sense of ownership over all aspects of the product.
Highly curious: naturally asks why a metric moved, what explains an anomaly, and what additional data would answer the question.
Commercially minded: understands that an interesting data point is not necessarily a valuable product; focuses on insights that change customer decisions.
Analytically rigorous: comfortable challenging definitions, assumptions, cohorts, benchmarks, and conclusions.
Result-driven with a focus on achieving measurable outcomes.
Ability to work effectively under pressure.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Positive approach to change and adaptability.
