About the role
As an Insurance Content Owner, you will support the creation and execution of insurance content for all product launches in the EMEA region. To drive success in this role, you will have a passion for creating customer-focused content with a keen eye for detail. As an Insurance Content Owner you will be responsible for the end-to-end management and production of insurance content presented throughout the customer journey. You’ll work closely with the Insurance and Customer teams to write simple, easy-to-read, customer-friendly insurance content across all CG products. You’ll also play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining our internal content libraries. Finally, you’ll lead content related projects globally aimed towards improving our content for our customers. Insurance experience is a bonus, as is experience in a content role in a start-up environment.

What you will be doing:

  • End-to-end management and production of insurance content that is presented throughout the customer journey (of course, we do all that very differently to the insurance industry!).
  • Writing simple, easy-to-read, customer-friendly, and compliant insurance content across all CG products. You’ll also support our Insurance Product Managers to create content in the CG Way.
  • Oversee approvals for all insurance content prior to launching products.
  • Oversee the upload and ongoing maintenance of insurance content to our internal content management system.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to ensure content is tested sufficiently prior to launch, including contributing to test plans.
  • Collaborate closely with other regions to drive continuous improvement through the development of style guides, best practices, and processes.
  • Develop and maintain our internal content library, and proactively communicate any improvements to a wider audience.
  • Championing user-centered design within everything you write.
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous learning by developing and delivering ongoing training and support for your team and the wider business.
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying improvements to content and systems and liaising with relevant teams to ensure delivery of these.
  • Manage the execution of ad hoc insurance content changes that arise via internal reviews or results from regulatory change.

What the ideal profile looks like;

  • University degree in Communications, Humanities, Journalism, or similar
  • Superior writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • 2-4 years of experience creating and managing content at an insurtech, fintech, direct insurance company, or broker or experience in a content role within the financial services industry.
  • Experience using and contributing the continuous improvement of a content management system.
  • Experience working across medium to large scale projects.
  • Experience contributing to the development and continuous improvement of content style guides.
  • Previous experience in product development, underwriting, or claims role is a bonus.
