Joining Collibra’s Excellence Enablement team

The Product & Engineering Project Management Office (P&E PMO) team leads program, project and release management throughout the Product & Engineering organization. We are looking for a Release Manager to drive our release process. This includes coordination of release enablement for our field teams, working together with our cross-functional teams (Tech Writers, Product Managers etc.), and support beta/preview launches of new products or product features.

Apart from the operational and coordinating activities to drive the Releases through milestones, you will be expected to contribute to the continuous improvement of Release Management process in Collibra- following the company growth. You will work closely with the Sr. Release Manager, supporting the introduction of necessary improvements throughout the organization. You will report to the Director of the P&E PMO team, work directly with the Product Leads and the Engineering Leads, and collaborate with your peer Project & Program Managers in P&E PMO.

Release Managers at Collibra are responsible for:

  • Driving monthly or ad hoc release process
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver software
  • Reporting progress to Product & Engineering leadership and key stakeholders on our field teams
  • Contributing within the P&E PMO team on the shared tools, documentation and processes
  • Governing & improving the release management process, and support cross-organization enablement initiatives

You have:

  • At least 2 years of experience as a Release Manager
  • A technical background, preferably in Software Development, Testing or in a CI/CD context
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent related working experience is required
  • This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship

You are:

  • A team player and have excellent people management skills, including the ability to influence, negotiate and achieve results through others who are not direct reports
  • A relationship builder across the organization, and ensure that the right processes, metrics, and insights are in place
  • Open for feedback and willing to learn, but not afraid to take initiative or try a new approach
  • Experience in working in a multi-language, multi-time zone environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey technical complexities in English - we’re a global team and English is the most spoken language

Measures of success:

  • Within your first month, you will get a good grip on the monthly release process by shadowing the ongoing releases
  • Within your third month, you will be able to drive a monthly release with Sr. Release Manager support
  • Within your sixth month, you will have coordinated one or more monthly releases, from scope selection until the release deployment

Compensation for This Role

The standard base salary range for this position is $116,000 - $160,000 per year. This position is not eligible for additional commission-based compensation. Salary offers are based on a combination of factors, including, but not limited to, experience, skills, and location.
