Joining Collibra’s Infrastructure Engineering team

As the Senior Manager of CI/CD and DevOps Excellence, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our software development lifecycle, automation, and deployment processes. You will lead a team of talented engineers and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient, reliable, and scalable software delivery.

The Infrastructure Engineering team is a fast growing team with engineers in Europe and the United States.

Senior Infrastructure Engineering Managers at Collibra are responsible for:

  • CI/CD Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive CI/CD strategy to streamline software development, testing, and deployment processes.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of DevOps engineers, providing guidance, setting goals, and ensuring their professional growth.
  • DevOps Culture: Promote a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement within the organization by fostering DevOps best practices and principles.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Oversee the implementation of IaC practices to automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration.
  • Tooling and Automation: Evaluate, select, and implement CI/CD tools and automation frameworks to enhance software delivery speed and quality.
  • Security and Compliance: Partner with Security and other organizations to improve security and compliance posture (SOC, Fedramp, ISO 27001, HIPPA, etc).

You have:

  • 7 Years proven experience in a senior DevOps or CI/CD role, including 2 years of team management.
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD concepts, tools, and practices.
  • Proficiency in scripting and programming languages (e.g., Python, Go).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent related working experience is required.
  • This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

  • Detail oriented and able to maintain detailed documentation of CI/CD pipelines, automation processes, and best practices.

Measures of success are:

  • Within your first month, you will absorb fundamental knowledge about Collibra processes/tools and start building team & cross-functional relationships.
  • Within your third month, you will operationally manage the team, take ownership of the CICD processes, collaborate on and achieve quarterly OKRs (Objectives & Key Results).
  • Within your sixth month, you will manage the team, take ownership of employee engagement, drive cross-functional initiatives, and assist in developing strategy around continuous improvements.

Compensation for this role

The standard base salary range for this position is $168,000.00 to $281,000.00 per year. This position is not eligible for additional commission-based compensation. Salary offers are based on a combination of factors, including, but not limited to, experience, skills, and location.

In addition to base salary, we offer equity ownership at every level, bonus potential, a Flex Fund monthly stipend, pension/401k plans, and more.
