Position Overview

We are seeking a visionary and experienced professional to lead our product strategy as Head of Product Vision. This role is instrumental in shaping the future direction of Checkstep’s platform, focusing on the broad integration and application of Trust & Safety solutions across varied online platforms.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in product management and a proven track record of delivering innovative products. While direct experience in Trust and Safety is less critical, a keen understanding of product development and market needs in the tech sector is essential.

Remote; work from anywhere in the world.

Responsibilities

1. Spearhead the development and execution of Checkstep’s product strategy, aligning product vision with business goals.
2. Key contributor in the full sales cycle for large clients, together with the Sales team, from showcasing the product and capabilities to onboarding new customers.
3. Help the sales team to maintain the relationship with top existing customers, ensuring their satisfaction while leveraging feedback and insights into the product development.
   
4. Collaborate closely with engineering, sales, and marketing teams to define product roadmaps and ensure seamless product launches.
5. Lead the ideation, technical development, and launch of innovative features that meet the needs of our clients and transform the Trust and Safety landscape.
6. Represent Checkstep at industry conferences, webinars, and other events, enhancing the company’s profile as a leader in Trust and Safety solutions.
   

Qualifications:

• Proven experience (5+ years) in a Trust & Safety role at an online platform in Product, Development or Operations. Policy development experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders.
  
• Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data and metrics to drive decision-making and process improvement. Understanding of foundational machine learning concepts is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to evolving priorities and challenges.
• Good knowledge of online safety regulations, particularly the Digital Services Act (DSA).
