About Us
Bondaval is building the decision layer for B2B financial risk, and we intend to shape how the next generation of it is managed.
Every company that sells on credit is taking risk on whether it will get paid. We help them manage that risk with confidence. Our platform combines proprietary technology, specialist underwriting and rated insurance capacity, so businesses can price, monitor and protect their credit, counterparty and payment risk in one place. Trade credit insurance and non-payment guarantees all run on it.

About the Role
We are hiring two Commercial Underwriters for our Americas team. We’re looking for motivated and driven people to join the Commercial function at Bondaval. In these roles you will sit at the heart of what we do as a business, with a front-row seat to drive our commercial growth and secure new partnerships. This is a great opportunity for someone earlier in their underwriting career who is eager to learn, keen to make an impact, and ready to roll up their sleeves and get things done.
The role blends commercial and underwriting responsibilities: leading broker-driven sales efforts while applying sound underwriting judgment to structure and price trade credit solutions. You will work closely with brokers, clients, and internal stakeholders to grow the business while ensuring decisions remain consistent with the company’s risk appetite and underwriting guidelines.
The role predominantly covers the United States, while also supporting our growth in Canada. You will collaborate closely with colleagues across risk, product, operations, technology, and marketing to support both commercial growth and a consistent, positive client experience.
Location: United States, exact location to depend on the candidate, with the expectation of travel as needed to meet prospective clients, brokers, and partners.
