What you will do:
Lead, mentor, and manage the Fraud Operations team, setting its strategic direction and managing performance.
Use SQL and data visualization tools to analyze fraud trends, build KPI dashboards, and conduct root cause analyses on losses.
Oversee and support complex investigations, manual transaction screening, and data labeling for AI models.
Act as the fraud subject matter expert (SME), making critical decisions and serving as the primary contact for internal stakeholders.
Partner with Engineering and Decision Science teams to test, deploy, and enhance fraud detection models.
Standardize and document fraud detection processes for transparency and scalability.
What you bring to the team:
You have 4+ years of proven, hands-on experience in fraud prevention/operations, risk analytics, or risk management, preferably within e-commerce, fintech, or banking.
Demonstrated experience in people management, mentorship, or leading a small team/function is required, including managing performance and developing talent.
Advanced proficiency in SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and statistical analysis.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills at all levels, capable of translating complex analytical insights and technical topics into clear, data-driven business strategy and prioritization for executive (C-level) and junior audiences.
Expertise in designing and maintaining professional data visualization and analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
Strong commercial and business acumen coupled with a highly analytical and problem-solving mindset.
Proven ability to thrive, lead, and maintain organization in a fast-paced, dynamic, and evolving environment.
A strong sense of responsibility, ownership, and a proactive self-starter mentality, capable of setting objectives, managing deadlines, and driving results independently and through a team.
