About the Role:
In this pivotal position, you will manage the balance between effective asset recovery and nurturing strong, long-term customer relationships. As the driving force behind our collections strategy, you’ll play a crucial role in securing Billie’s financial health while delivering a fair and professional experience for our clients.
We are searching for a commercially-savvy and empathetic individual who thrives in complex situations and brings a data-driven approach to decision-making. Your expertise will not only boost our recovery rates but will also enhance and streamline our processes, making a direct impact on Billie’s bottom line and strengthening our position as a trusted financial partner.
What you will do:
Take full ownership of a dynamic B2B portfolio, strategically managing and resolving overdue accounts to safeguard Billie’s financial interests.
Design and implement advanced, multi-channel collection strategies, leveraging top-tier negotiation skills to secure strong outcomes while protecting valuable customer partnerships.
Lead process improvements, identifying and rolling out automation opportunities and operational enhancements that elevate the efficiency and impact of our collections team.
Transform data into actionable insights, analyzing key performance indicators to inform and evolve our recovery strategy.
Serve as a key liaison between customers and internal teams (Sales, Data Science, Legal, etc.), resolving complex situations and ensuring a positive customer experience throughout the collections process.
What you bring to the team:
4+ years of professional experience in collections, credit management, or a related field, ideally with a focus on B2B portfolios.
Demonstrated success in developing and executing effective recovery strategies across diverse accounts.
Outstanding negotiation, conflict resolution, and communication abilities, with the skill to balance firmness and empathy.
Strong analytical capabilities, using data to drive decisions, monitor results, and enhance collection practices.
A customer-centric approach, adept at preserving important business relationships even in challenging financial conversations.
Proactive, resilient, and comfortable in a fast-paced FinTech environment.
Professional fluency in German is a significant advantage.
