About the role:
We are looking for an experienced, German native or English speaking Content Writer to join our commercial unit as part of the Billie Marketing team. In your role you will be a key partner to our Acquisition, Customer, and Partner teams. You will play a central role in shaping the way Billie and its products are received by our audience and how we communicate to them. You will be responsible for creating, maintaining and managing a broad variety of compelling and engaging copy and content for different channels and formats from social, to collaterals, and long copy. We are looking for a creative mind with strong all-around content writing and communication skills with a background in finance, payments, or fintech and a profound understanding of the B2B e-commerce landscape.
Your main responsibilities:
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to execute on our content strategy by creating and managing compelling content and copy that engages with our audiences while being in line with our brand, content, and communication guidelines.
- Write highly curated and differentiated content such as white paper or other long copy formats, that is well researched and educates our audience around the business problems and solutions space we are operating in.
- Create stories and content that showcase Billie’s expertise within the ecosystem and positions the company as thought leader and pioneer within B2B payments and ecommerce.
- Collaborate with the commercial team to adapt your origin content to different format and distribute it across channels.
- Own, maintain and grow our social media presence.
Who we are looking for:
- You have 5+ years of experience creating content and copy ideally as part of marketing or communications teams with
- You have a significant background writing (editorial) content for fintechs, the financial or payments industry, and ideally a good understanding for Growth and Marketing.
- You are a native in German or fluent in English with excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) with a strong grasp of spelling, grammar, and a very strong attention to detail.
- You are able to write in a variety of styles with an ear for modern, conversational and inclusive language and are used to following style, tone, and voice guidelines while delivering results on time.
- You have a proven track record and portfolio of work that demonstrates high-quality content for marketing, communications, and sales teams that shows subject expertise and that customers like.
- You are a self-starter that knows how to work independently in an agile and creative environment while bringing excellent project management skills
- Experience in journalism is a big plus.
- Experience in localization and translation management is a plus.
