About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Securities Operations/Data Specialist to join the AccessFintech Product Team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in processing Securities transactions within a global banking environment. Expertise in operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and familiarity with the Securities Booking and Settlement lifecycles is highly desirable.

This role provides an opportunity to collaborate with a dynamic team and contribute to developing innovative solutions. You will engage extensively with broker-dealers, Prime Brokers, Global Custodians and buyside firms, ensuring seamless integration of our platform into their workflows.

Responsibilities

1. Product-Specific Requirements:

  • Identify and map key datasets with prospective client firms for securities trades, including settlement, netting, client servicing and claims.
  • Monitor and address potential data gaps by collaborating with clients and internal IT teams.
  • Maintain a clear and detailed list of deliverables and objectives for internal stakeholders (Product and IT teams) and clients.
  • Responsible for end to end new client onboarding
  • Responsible for onboarding client data to Synergy
  • Responsible for data cleansing and data governance

2. Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal teams and external counterparties.
  • Provide training and ongoing support to external users for platform usage.
  • Manage client feedback on UI usability and work with product and IT teams to prioritize and implement improvements.

Requirements

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Securities Operations within a large bank.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in Excel; knowledge of VBA or SQL is a plus.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Outstanding communication and collaboration skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently and effectively prioritize multiple tasks in a remote setting.
