About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Derivatives Specialist to join the AccessFintech Product Team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in processing derivatives within a global banking environment. Expertise in operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and familiarity with equity derivatives is highly desirable.
This role provides an opportunity to collaborate with a dynamic team and contribute to developing innovative solutions. You will engage extensively with broker-dealers and buyside firms, ensuring seamless integration of our platform into their workflows.
Responsibilities
1. Product-Specific Requirements:
- Identify and map key datasets with prospective client firms for derivative trades, including options, futures, swaps, and structured products.
- Monitor and address potential data gaps by collaborating with clients and internal IT teams.
- Maintain a clear and detailed list of deliverables and objectives for internal stakeholders (Product and IT teams) and clients.
- Responsible for end to end new client onboarding
- Responsible for onboarding client data to Synergy
- Responsible for data cleansing and data governance
2. Stakeholder Engagement:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal teams and external counterparties.
- Provide training and ongoing support to external users for platform usage.
- Manage client feedback on UI usability and work with product and IT teams to prioritize and implement improvements.
Requirements
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in derivatives within a large bank.
Technical Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Excel; knowledge of VBA or SQL is a plus.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Outstanding communication and collaboration skills.
- Proven ability to work independently and effectively prioritize multiple tasks in a remote setting.
