The Position

The FP&A team is looking to recruit a Senior FP&A Analyst (either in London or Glasgow) to support the business in its continued strive for growth. We are looking for someone who can support the business in all things FP&A (to help mature what we do here at AFT in this space). This is a group-wide role and therefore presents a unique opportunity for an ambitious individual to see and influence the full picture in terms of business performance.

Working closely with the Head of FP&A and wider finance team, as well as the wider business including the executive leadership team, senior managers and sales teams, the FP&A team is responsible for driving business value through timely and accurate reporting, robust financial planning and ultimately supporting the business to ensure its growth is managed and measured accurately. Our success is in our ability to be highly predictable – which is our mission here at AccessFintech FP&A.

Responsibilities

· Monthly KPI’s and Board reporting, preparation, and enhancement of monthly KPI’s schedules, and preparation of board materials.

· Company-wide budgeting, forecasting, and planning, work with Head of FP&A, the wider finance team and the wider business, in contributing to planning processes for the group including balance sheet and cashflow forecasting.

· Recurring Revenue/ARR analytics, ownership and maintenance of revenue datacube, ARR tracker, revenue analytics and revenue modelling, as well as industry specific metrics such as gross and net retention, acquisition efficiency (CAC), CLTV, cohort analysis, cash runway etc.

· Key partner to sales, marketing, finance, customer success, and other teams to align on revenue/top-line goals.

· Track key metrics, like sales performance, lead velocity, sales cycle length, win rates, churn, upsell, etc.

· Developing, improving, and maintaining excellent management information, consistently providing fresh insight, highlighting risks and opportunities in a meaningful manner and constructively challenging results.

· Driving process improvement and increasing efficiencies in the way we work, continually looking for opportunities to add value. Proactively engaging with the wider team and driving collaboration between business functions to deliver positive change, striving for best practice.

· Building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders across the business, translating financial data into meaningful information, and ensuring financial information needs are met.

· Monthly variance analysis to budget, re-forecast, and prior year; working with financial accounting team on variance analysis in terms of actual performance versus budget and re-forecasts, and how this feeds/impacts future projections from a planning and forecasting perspective.

· Analyse complex financial data and reports, and to provide accurate financial recommendations including business cases where appropriate.

· Analyse and provide insights on trends in data (both financial and non-financial) as well as on market activity, competitor behaviour, and anything else that could impact the business.

Requirements

The Senior FP&A Analyst must be a seasoned, and ideally a qualified finance professional who has experience in generating and driving business results. Success in this role requires collaboration, communication and to provide best-in-class, actionable insights in order to create value for the business. This is a highly visible role with the ability to directly impact key business decisions and financial outlook.

To be successful we would be looking for the following experience and skills:

· Qualified Accountant (0-3 Year’s PQE ACCA/CIMA/ACA)

· Advanced Financial Modelling and Excel skills, and PowerPoint such as preparing management decks

· Commercial, data-driven, and analytical mindset (i.e., comfortable with large data-sets and being able to analyse/articulate meaning of them)

· Multi-company, multi-currency exposure a plus

· Thorough understanding of the 3-financial-statements and the connectivity between them (and with the ability to undertake 3-financial-statement models)

· Strong in the detail whilst being able to keep the bigger picture in mind

· Proficiency in Salesforce.com, Power BI, and/or other comparable software systems would be a strong advantage.

· Exposure to working with BI & data visualisation tools are a big plus

· Experience in technology and SaaS space is preferable

· Experience in working with high volumes and complex data

· Experience of working in a fast-paced environment

· Excellent communication skills and confidence to liaise with multiple business heads

· High organisational skills and ability to juggle and prioritise tasks

· Must be pro-active and a self-starter
